Burglar enters unoccupied Bruce home

BROOKINGS – The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a break-in at an unoccupied home near Bruce, according to Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.

The sheriff’s office was notified this week of a break-in and possible burglary at an unoccupied home located at 46340 198th St.

The Bruce-area residence is used for storage, the owner said, and it appears someone entered the home between Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 5 and Jan. 6.
