Cossacks, MCM advance to Big East title game

HOWARD/FLANDREAU – Sioux Valley and McCook Central/Montrose advanced to the championship game of the Big East Conference boys’ basketball tournament on Friday.

The Cossacks beat Garretson 51-46, while the Fighting Cougars dropped Flandreau 60-57.

In consolation semifinal action, Chester Area beat Baltic 53-45 and Parker defeated Howard 54-44.
