Local roller derby team now taking signups for skaters, refs, volunteers

BROOKINGS – The Brookings-area roller derby team, the Cherry Bombs, are off and rolling and they are still in need of skaters, refs and volunteers.

To be eligible to skate for the team, you must be 18 years old. No previous experience is necessary.

To find out more about how you can get involved in this new, exciting endeavor, the women will have a table at the Entringer Basketball Tournament on Dec. 29 at Brookings High School from 1-5 p.m.
