BROOKINGS – Drew Brevig scored 2 1/2 minutes into overtime to lift the Brookings Blizzard past the Aberdeen Wings, 3-2, in a North American Hockey League Central Division matchup Monday night in front of 756 fans at Larson Ice Center.
Thomas Williams and Jordan Stejskal assisted on the game winner; as Brookings improved to 5-1 against Aberdeen this season, outscoring its South Dakota rival 17-8 in such games.
Aidan Cavallini opened the scoring just 36 seconds into the game, with James McGing and Williams earning assists on the goal.
