BFSC pair compete at ISI Holiday Challenge

DANBURY, Conn. – Brookings High School freshman Haley Patrick (in pink) and Mikkelson Middle School eighth-grader Charlotte League (in blue), both members of the Brookings Figure Skating Club, competed in the 2012 ISI Holiday Challenge National Figure Skating Competition, held Nov. 30-Dec. 1 in Danbury, Conn. This competition consisted of 33 teams from states as far away as Colorado and Florida.

Patrick, a Freestyle 5-level skater, took first place in her Freestyle Program, Ball Program and Interpretation. She also placed third with her Dramatic Program.

League, a Freestyle 2-level skater, took first place in her Freestyle and Ball Program; second in Footwork; and fourth in Interpretation.
