BROOKINGS – South Dakota State running back Zach Zenner was named Tuesday to the 2012 AFCA Football Championship Subdivision Coaches' All-America Team.
A native of Eagan, Minn., Zenner was one of only two sophomores named to the 25-player All-America team, which is selected by the American Football Coaches Association.
During the 2012 season, Zenner rushed for 2,044 yards – 11 shy of the school record but easily eclipsing the SDSU Division I-era record.
