Mike Freeman of Ace Sign in Sioux Falls put some of the finishing touches on the new Brookings Public Safety Center by installing signage on the newly revamped building Friday afternoon. The recent three-phase, $454,000 overhaul of the former Brookings City Hall has made room for the Brookings Police Department’s 43 officers and staff, who were previously cramped into a space meant for a force half that size.
