Craig R. Johanson, 46, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Flandreau.
Burial is in the church cemetery. Visitation from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel with a 7 p.m. prayer service.
Craig was born Oct. 19, 1966, in Flandreau to Robert and Sally (Lacey) Johanson. He graduated from Flandreau High School in 1984.
Craig was involved in many high school sports and activities. He attended SDSU and was part of the 1742nd Transportation Unit in Flandreau that was called up during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Craig married Jodi Miller on Nov. 17, 1990 in Flandreau and he farmed with his father and sons.
Craig was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, following his kid’s activities, wildlife and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi of Flandreau; three children, David, Daniel and Grace, all of Flandreau; his father, Robert Johanson of Flandreau; five siblings, Debra Johanson of Sioux Falls, Kathy (Jeff) Dietrich of Luverne, Minn., Randy (Deb) Johanson of Flandreau, Brett (Kim) Johanson of Flandreau and Marla (Gary) Lang of Sioux Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally and his grandparents.
