Ronald Papka- Hudson, Fla.: May 28, 1936 - Oct. 25, 2012

Ronald Sheldon Papka, 76, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.

His ashes were laid to rest at 2:30 p.m. today at the VA Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.

He was born May 28, 1936, in Estelline.

Ronald retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years and an additional 20 years with Civil Service. He attended St. Leo College, where he earned his associate’s degree.

He is survived by a son, Ronald; three daughters, Juli Papka, Roni Kae Rody and Ami Cromwell; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Swenson and a brother, Richard Papka.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Papka; mother, Myrtle, father William and brother, Duane.
