BROOKINGS – Musicians from the SDSU-Civic Symphony will perform works of Tchaikovsky and “Lord of the Rings” when it presents its first performance of the season.
The free concert is 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of South Dakota State University.
The 55-member orchestra, a mix of 30 university students, 10 community members and 15 high school All-State Orchestra musicians, will conclude with music from “The Two Towers” episode of the “Lord of the Rings” movie.
