Jacks fall to Huskers

BROOKINGS – The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving fell to Nebraska 177-106 at the HPER Center Pool on Friday.

Devonne Dalin won the only event for SDSU in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.58 seconds. Dalin finished second in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.65 seconds. Dalin was part of the runner-up 200-yard medley relay which finished in 1:52.11 and the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:37.63.

Freshman Kayce Smith finished runner-up in three individual events. Smith had season-bests in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.00 and in the 200-yard IM with at time 0f 2:16.09. Smith finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:29.66.
