Craig N. Lease, 67, died Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center at North Platte, Neb.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison with the Rev. John Anderson officiating. Burial is in Graceland Cemetery in Madison. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte.
Craig Norman Lease was born Jan. 14, 1945, at Madison to Norman and Ella (Limmer) Lease. He graduated from Beadle High School, Madison, in 1963. He served in the South Dakota and Iowa National Guard for 19 years. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard pistol shooting team. He worked as a welder and machine maintenance man for 21 years at Fisher Controls in Marshalltown, Iowa. Craig also drove semi-truck for Rite-Way Milk in Holdridge, Neb, for 10 years, and retired in 1999. He was a past president of the Marshalltown Christian Motorcycle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Delcena of North Platte; two sons, Craig (Lora) Lease and Christopher (Stacy) Lease, both of North Platte; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three sisters, Jeanene (Roy) Lingle of Madison, Marjorie (James) Hubert of Albuquerque, N.M., and Norma Kay (Donald) Shaw of Yuma, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
