• New Brookings Advocates for Small Business group will meet Monday at Old Sanctuary

BROOKINGS – Because they feel it would be “a game-changer” for Brookings, a group that includes area businessmen is not willing to let a building project at South Dakota State University slip by without further notice.

These men have formed Brookings Advocates for Small Business (BASB) and are holding a town hall meeting Monday to discuss the Northwest Quadrant development initiative. A Request for Proposal (RFP) was released Wednesday for the privately-owned apartment building that may be a first step in this initiative.
