Council to get info on Swiftel data service

• Tuesday schedule includes action on new PDD for Swiftel Center area

BROOKINGS – Councilors will have their hands full Tuesday as they consider establishing a Planned Development District for properties near the Swiftel Center, approve the purchase of airport land, act on changes to the city’s conditional use permit ordinance and hear reports from both the Brookings Health System and Brookings Municipal Utilities.

The BMU presentation will bring to the council for the first time a Swiftel Communications plan to introduce a new data storage and management service.
