City wraps up projects at council session

BROOKINGS – Councilors last week got the city winterized, awarding contracts for graders, loaders and dump trucks to assist the Street Department during snow removal.

The awards were among several housekeeping items on the agenda, including a contract for more Gateway Project work, an adjustment on one of the city’s detention pond projects and beverage licenses for one of the city’s new restaurants.
