Playoff seeding on the line in Week 8

Heading into the eighth week of the season, the Brookings Bobcats sit in a coveted spot in the power point rankings – the top eight.

But whether or not the 3-4 ‘Cats can remain in the No. 8 slot and assure themselves a home game in the first round of the playoffs will be determined on how they fare against Sioux Falls Lincoln on Friday night.

The last time the Patriots and Bobcats squared off, it was a quarterfinal matchup in last season’s playoffs in which top-seeded Lincoln rolled over Brookings, 61-19, to advance.
