BROOKINGS – The Jackrabbit volleyball team won the first set, but then saw the next three sets slip away as the University of Missouri–Kansas City beat SDSU, 22-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-23 on Friday at Frost Arena.
After hitting at a .128 clip in the first set, the Kangaroos stepped up their play – hitting .308 (17 kills, five errors) in Set 2; improving to .378 (18 kills, four errors) in the third set; and finishing off with a .205 kill percentage in Set 4 (16 kills, eight errors).
