BROOKINGS – Coulee Region rallied from a one-goal deficit after two periods to pull out a 6-5 win over the Blizzard in North American Hockey League action at Larson Ice Center on Friday.
The Chill got on the board with a pair of goals as Matt Williams found the back of the net at the 6:44 mark and then Mac Jenson made it 2-0 with a goal with 5:59 remaining in the first period. Brookings scored two goals less than a minute apart to tie it up at 2-all. Emil Blomqvist lit the lamp at the 2:22 mark and Justin Moody tickled the twine with 1:42 on the clock.
Coulee Region outshot the Blizzard 14-12 in the first period. Brookings dominated the second 20 minutes, outshooting the Chill 15-7 on the way to a 4-3 lead after two.
