Providing good meals, company, camaraderie

60s Plus Dining going strong in Brookings area

BROOKINGS  "Our purpose, our main goal is to keep people healthy. It's an inexpensive, tasty way to stay healthy."

With those few simple words, Kim Jones, nutrition director for Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership, summed up what 60s Plus Dining is all about. This past Wednesday's noon meal at 60s Plus Dining in the Brookings Activity Center in addition to being healthy, tasty and inexpensive, was a diners' favorite: turkey with all the fixings that included mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, fruit, bread, margarine, coffee and several flavors of milk.
