Heading into this weekend’s girls’ state tennis tournament, Bobcat head coach Brian Dobbs’ squad is optimistic – and realistic at the same time.
The ‘Cats finished 17th in 2011 with 74 points and are setting their sights higher in 2012.
“Our goal – which is different than the top teams – is to finish higher than some of our local and ESD rivals like Huron, Madison and Yankton,” Dobbs said. “We will be keeping an eye on team points with those schools; we’ll be trying to do better than them."
