I-29 Exit 127 closes today for one week

BROOKINGS – The South Dakota Department of Transportation has closed the northbound on- and off-ramps south of Brookings at Exit 127 on Interstate 29 for about one week, beginning today.

Closing Exit 127 will allow crews to pave the interstate lanes past the ramp locations, state DOT officials say.

Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes; signing will be in place to alert travelers of the closures.
