Lonnie Brozik - Gregory: Jan. 7, 1954 – July 10, 2012

Lonnie Brozik, 58, died July 10, 2012, while working on his farm.

Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Gregory. Burial with military honors will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Paxton at 1:30 p.m. Visitation is today at Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home in Gregory from 6-8 p.m. with a program at 7 p.m.

Lonnie James Brozik was born Jan. 7, 1954, the oldest of four children, to Benny and Mildred (Coash) Brozik. He was raised on the family farm near Dallas, SD.

On Oct. 16, 1982, Lonnie married Susan Woods and they raised three daughters, Amanda, Chelsea, and Caitlin.

He is survived by his wife Susan of Gregory; daughters, Amanda and special friend Brady Hanson of Yankton, Chelsea and fiancé Marty Kendrick of Winner and Caitlin and special friend AJ Wiley of Gregory; three grandchildren; mother Mildred Brozik of Winner; brother Dave (Bernie) Brozik of Winner; sisters, Kathy (Jeff) Askew of Pierre and Cheryl Sperl of Gregory; sisters-in-law Jan (Tom) Endes of White River, Linda (Gary) Bowers of Holdrege, Neb., and Anita (Mike) Neitzel of Gregory; brother-in-law, Dale (Celeste) Woods of Cabot, Ark., and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
