While one fraternity house in South Dakota State University’s new Greek Village appears to be nearing completion this summer, a sign announcing plans for another new house is now up. The nearly finished structure will soon become the home of the Alpha Xi Delta women’s fraternity. Next up is the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house, to be constructed south of the AXD house. Marysz Rames, SDSU vice president for student affairs, said this spring that all the remaining lots in the Greek Village are spoken for by other local Greek chapters. SDSU’s Greek Village is located along 20th Avenue, on the southwest side of McCrory Gardens.
