BROOKINGS – The eighth annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink Campaign kicked off this week with an all-new neon pink look for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Because of the community’s support, the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Campaign has raised more than $30,000 for cancer patients in Brookings County.
The Swiftel Center works with Brookings Health System Foundation to disburse those funds. As a result, the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Assistance Program (PINKAP) was established and a new fitting room was created at the Brookings Health System/Avera Home Medical Equipment store to provide post-mastectomy products and services in Brookings. For the complete article see the 10-05-2013 issue.
