‘Dinosaur Train’ stops in Brookings Sunday

• Children’s Museum offering free day of play

BROOKINGS – “Dinosaur Train” is pulling into the station, and its next stop is Brookings.

The Children’s Museum of South Dakota and S.D. Public Broadcasting are partnering to provide a free day of play on Sunday, May 19. Jim Henson’s “Dinosaur Train,” a popular children’s TV show from PBS KIDS, will be a part of the fun. Buddy T. rex from the show will get to meet Mama & Max T. rex from the Children’s Museum.

The state-of-the-art museum will rock from noon to 5 p.m. “Dinosaur Train,” SDPB and the Children’s Museum of South Dakota will host this special day with free admission into the museum and special activities for children and their grown ups to celebrate the joy of discovery and science.
