BROOKINGS – Professor John Walker is approaching the finish line of a five-year marathon.

In February 2008, Walker presented his first recital in a series of performances that would take him through all 32 of Ludwig van Beethoven’s piano sonatas.

Walker will present his final program at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, in the Performing Arts Center on the South Dakota State University campus. The performance will be repeated at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. There is no admission charge for the performances.

At the Brookings performance, a reception in Walker’s honor will be held at the completion of the concert in the Roberts Reception Area.
