• State's USBCA Hall of Fame inducting Volga man

VOLGA – For Volga resident LeRoy DeBeer, July will be "Hall of Fame" trifecta time.

Already a member of the Dakota State University Athletic Hall of Fame (1997) and the Brookings United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame, the native of White will be inducted into the Class of 2012 South Dakota State USBC Hall of Fame Meritorious Service category.

The recognition will come at the Jamboree and Awards Banquet in Pierre. DeBeer will join other Brookings area bowling Hall of Famers who include Sean Mason, Larry Becker and Norma Sheffield.
