Ethics lessons move to Mickelson Middle School

• Brookings was pilot site for Junior Achievement with younger students

BROOKINGS – For the last four years, local businesspeople have set aside a few hours, one morning a year, to teach ethics to Brookings High School students through the Junior Achievement “Excelling through Ethics” program. While doing so, a lot of them had the same thought: These kids are too old.

"Year after year, our volunteers have always said, 'You know, we'd love to get these kids younger,’” said Staci Horst, coordinator for the program in Brookings.
