Norwegians gathering for dance, concert

BROOKINGS – The Sons of Norway Fjordland Lodge is sponsoring a Norwegian dance workshop, membership dinner and concert on Saturday, Oct. 6, at First Lutheran Church in Brookings.

The dance workshop from 1 to 5 p.m. is free and open to the public. It will be presented by Vestafor, consisting of Mikkel Thompson, Ginny Lee and Toby Weinberg.

Cost of the dinner is $5; to attend, call Linda Vaa at 692-4247 or 695-6737 for reservations.

A free public concert will be presented from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.
