Red hot chili, fun at Pioneer Days

They’re past winners, but chili cook-off participants Martin and Lori Colberg of White, shown here, didn’t take home the top prize at this year’s White Pioneer Days contest. They missed it by one spot, instead claiming second place in 2012. This year’s first-place winners were George and Arlene Madsen. Claiming third, fourth and fifth were Toby Nelson; Jonah King; and Dirk, Tammy and Nick Byers, respectively. This year’s showmanship award went to the chili booth with the theme of Deep Sea Diving – Tyler Jensen, Cecilia Knutson, Regina Knutson, Monica Knutson and Megan Hartnoff.
