An Arlington teenager was injured in a rollover accident in western Brookings County Monday morning. Vanessa Carol Brown, 15, was transported to the Brookings hospital by ambulance following the crash a half-mile north of 209th Street on 459th Avenue. She suffered unknown head injuries. The crash was reported at 9:42 a.m. Brookings County Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said Brown's 2000 Toyota Celica entered the east ditch and rolled several times. Brown told authorities that she fell asleep behind the wheel. Her car is a total loss. The accident remains under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff's Department. Volga First Responders and Brookings Ambulance also responded to the scene of the crash.
