K&R Auto, at 321 35th St. S. in Brookings, has become a vandalism victim: two vehicles parked on its lot were hit sometime during a 24-hour period between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

Windshields on a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero and a 1999 Saab 95 were smashed. Damage to the two cars totaled $760.

The incident is under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff's Department.
