• Tammy Norgaard pleads guilty to felony grand theft
BROOKINGS – The former finance officer for the City of Sinai has admitted to embezzling public funds from the city during a more than six-year period.
Tammy L. Norgaard, 34, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of grand theft.
According to court documents, she was accused of stealing at least $76,000 from Sinai’s public funds between January 2006 and September 2012.
