Two shoplifters nabbed at local Walmart store

• $800 worth of goods roll out the door

BROOKINGS – Thou shalt not conceal with intent to steal, nor depart from Walmart with unpaid loot in a cart.

Those were lessons learned the hard way by a couple of men at Walmart on Monday afternoon.

Brookings Police Lt. Derrick Powers said that at about 1 p.m., the Brookings Police Department responded to a call from Walmart that "a couple of individuals were concealing items."
