BROOKINGS – Whether you’re a guest in somebody’s home or one of the permanent residents, it’s probably a good idea to keep your dog off the couch.
It was an argument over a dog taking up sofa space that led to a face slap – which in turn led directly to the Brookings County jail.
Brookings police were called at about 8:30 Sunday morning to a home in the 700 block of Second Street.
The call was for a domestic disturbance, one of the women involved reporting she had been assaulted by another resident of the home.
