Car stolen in Brookings recovered in Moody County

BROOKINGS – The long arm of the law reached into Moody County Monday night and nabbed a pair suspected of stealing a car in Brookings.

An 18-year-old Sioux Falls man is facing auto theft charges as a result of an incident reported in Brookings about 7:30 p.m.

Another man, a Volga resident, may have assisted in the theft, according to Brookings Police Lt. Derrick Powers, and he could be charged with theft of a motor vehicle as well.
