Police investigating attempted break-ins

BROOKINGS – Brookings police are continuing their investigation of three attempted burglaries in the city, all logged over the past week.

Two of the break-in attempts were in the same apartment building. That incident occurred late New Year’s Eve or on New Year’s Day when a burglar tried to enter several apartments in a building located in the 900 block of Sixth Avenue.
