WHITE – A car parked at the Deubrook School in White was struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday, the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Gerelyn Moberg, an employee of the Deubrook School District, told officers she had parked at the school Thursday morning, and sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. someone ran into the rear driver’s side door of her car.
Deputies said the accident resulted in about $650 damage to Moberg’s 1996 Buick Riviera. They also observed white paint transfer on the door of the vehicle.
