Driver rolls pickup in Dec. 1 crash

BROOKINGS – Two men fled the scene Saturday morning when the truck they were driving hit a curb and rolled onto its side, finally coming to rest on a city boulevard.

A witness called in the accident report to Brookings police shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday.

The caller said the vehicle, a green, 2001 Ford pickup, had been traveling at a high rate of speed near the intersection of 11th Avenue and Seventh Street when it hit a curb and flipped onto its side.
