BROOKINGS – The sheriff’s office is investigating a rural Brookings County burglary, according to Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
Sometime between Nov. 17 and Nov. 24, someone gained entry into an unoccupied rural home by prying open the back door. The house is located at 47816 U.S. Highway 14.
Sebring said miscellaneous items were taken from the home.
The theft was reported shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday.
