Thief enters shed through garage

ELKTON – An Elkton resident told the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office that someone broke into his storage shed over the weekend.

According to the reporting party, someone first entered his unlocked garage at 302 Antelope St. S. and then crawled over a wall that separates the garage from a storage unit.

At the time of the report Sunday, about 4 p.m., the owner told deputies that several items were broken, but it’s uncertain what was actually missing from the storage unit.
