Remodeling job halted by theft of materials

BROOKINGS, A local homeowner planning on doing some remodeling at a mobile home he owns came up on the short end of things when he discovered someone had stolen all his building materials.

BROOKINGS, A Brookings man was arrested for domestic assault Tuesday evening after he allegedly, and repeatedly, slammed the head of his live-in-partner into a wall.
