BROOKINGS, Some Walmart customers in Brookings have been victimized this week by a fraudulent "Walmart" email that damages their computers.
As a result, the Brookings Police Department is issuing a virus alert for all local computer users.

But it isn't always the elderly who fall prey, sometimes younger people learn financial lessons the hard way.

ARLINGTON, The Brookings County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of three tractor batteries taken from a farm shed near Arlington last week.
