Mailbox, pickup damaged at rural Brookings home

BROOKINGS, Vandals caused some late-night destruction at a rural Brookings home the past weekend, damaging a mailbox and breaking out the rear window of a pickup.
The incident took place at 321 35th St., and the owner told sheriff's deputies the breakage took place between 10 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
