LINCOLN, Neb. – The South Dakota State men’s rodeo team keeps rolling along at the top spot in the Great Plains Region standings; and the Jackrabbit women are still hanging on to the second spot.
The SDSU men scored 960 points to win the first of a double rodeo at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln over the weekend; and then, the Jackrabbit cowboys added a third-place finish of 470 points to place third behind Dickinson State and Iowa Central in the second rodeo. Those finishes pushed the Jacks to a 5,210-point total – while the Tritons are in second with 3,468.33 and the Blue Hawks have 3,375 for third.
