KANSAS CITY – The South Dakota State men's tennis team opened its conference schedule at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, but was bested 4-0.
For its first conference meets of the season, SDSU traveled to a conference triangular in Kansas City. The Jacks faced the Kangaroos on Friday and IUPUI on Saturday.
In its weekend opener, defending Summit League champion Kansas City swept the doubles for the team point. Two of the matches went down to the wire, as both Andrea Boglić and Parker Lawley and Lucas Pereira and Henrique Pereira were edged 9-8 at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively.
