CASTLEWOOD – Estelline won the rematch, outscoring Castlewood 18-10 in the fourth quarter for a 38-37 victory in a District 3B girls’ basketball semifinal Thursday night.
The Lady Redmen (17-4), who were shut out in the fourth quarter while falling 30-28 to the Warriors in their regular-season finale on Feb. 14, advance to face third-ranked De Smet (20-1) for the district title on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Swiftel Center in Brookings.
Erin Begalka had a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the win. Shelby Reed dropped in a game-high 17 points to go with five steals and three boards.
