Minotauros melt Blizzard, 3-2, in OT

Minot, N.D. – The Blizzard saw their recent domination of the Minotauros come to an end as Minot pulled out a 3-2 overtime victory in North American Hockey League action on Wednesday in Minot.

Tim Donohue scored his second goal of the night just a minute and 49 seconds into the extra period to end Brookings’ win streak over the Minotauros at three straight games, dating back to Dec. 29.

The Blizzard took the early lead as Jared Docken took advantage of a power-play opportunity with a goal four minutes into the game. Thomas Williams set up Docken’s goal as Brookings led 1-0 after the first 20 minutes.
