Dolphins pick up DVC win, Elks romp to close out regular season

WHITE – After a tight first quarter, Deubrook Area outscored Lake Preston, 33-6, in the second frame to pull away for a 77-48 Dakota Valley Conference boys’ basketball game in White on Tuesday.

The Dolphins led 10-9 after the first eight minutes before their huge second-quarter outburst helped them improve to 10-8 overall.

Tyler Jensen’s 21 points and six rebounds led Deubrook Area as Cory Byers chipped in with 16 points and Trent Johnson contributed 11.
