• Dykstra becomes SDSU’s 43rd 1,000-point career scorer
BROOKINGS – South Dakota State handled rival South Dakota 67-54 on Thursday night at Frost Arena, as the Jackrabbits won their Summit League record-tying 27th consecutive home game.
Jordan Dykstra had a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. The junior became the 43rd member of SDSU’s 1,000-point club in the process, pushing his career total to 1,012.
Playing in front of their second straight capacity crowd – announced at 6,130 – the Jackrabbits seized control early.
