Sioux Valley holds off Dolphins

WHITE – Sioux Valley held off rival Deubrook Area, 63-58, in nonconference boys’ basketball action Tuesday night.

Tayton Vincent clinched the victory with a pair of free throws with 6.5 seconds left.

“I thought we came out with some good energy, which we maybe expected,” said Sioux Valley head coach Bill Vincent, whose team hadn’t played since a 61-41 home win over De Smet on Jan. 22. “We needed a week off and we finally got one."
