OMAHA, Neb. – Six Jackrabbits scored at least nine points and South Dakota State never trailed in a 74-64 Summit League women’s basketball victory over league newcomer Omaha on Saturday afternoon at Sapp Fieldhouse.
SDSU went on a 22-7 run over the final 9 1/2 minutes of the first half to take a 39-24 lead at intermission. Seven different Jackrabbits scored during the run.
The teams exchanged 6-0 runs to open the second half, before the Jacks pulled away with an 8-0 spurt.
